What if Mexico would acepted the Zimmerman telegram???_____________________________________________________

For the people don't know what i'm talking about, is Germany's promise of restoration of the former Mexican provinces of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado.... again into Mexican Territory.

If Mexico would join with the germans agaist the USA in the first Worl War.

if that had happened, there is a good chance i guess that we would have lost the war...
america, as a rule, seems to worry about its own hide above all else, so if we had Mexicans threatening our borders, we would be spending more resources figthing them off, and less on the fighting in europe (if we would do that at all....maybe we would have just fought againt the mexicans).
but then again, the germans were already strained....who would give the mexicans the tools, the money, the resources, the guns, the bombs, the gas, etc. for figthing a war. i mean, the mexicans declined for a reason....
but who knows....
