Your nose is dry. Get a humidifier and put it in your bedroom when you sleep. It will help.

If the air is really dry, my nose will begin to bleed randomly sometimes. I recently took a trip across the country on a train, and going through the dry, cold air of the Rocky Mounts really had an effect. The lining of your nose will sometimes dry out especially around this time of year (and especially if you're in an area with dry air that's moving, say; if you leave a fan running or the heat/AC going) and will cause the skin to crack and bleed not so much unlike chapped lips. Best thing to do is go to the local drug store and ask the pharm. guys for some help, or, if it doesn't irritate you to much use some salve.

It could be dry air, a sinus problem, or high blood pressure. Try a humidifier and get your BP checked. And see your doctor if the humidifier doesn't work.

Maybe you have high blood pressure. Go have it checked just to rule it out. Please don't ignore it. Best wishes!
