Civil/domestic lawyer. But I would stick to small claims court...you won't get a lot for noise and aggravation.

You can't call a lawyer because of a noisy neighbor. If you want to take him to small claims court start building your case now. Document every instance and if necessary get the police involved and get copies of their reports.

Ugggg, I would say either work it out with your neighbour or move. This type of dispute is the worst to have lawyers involved, because no matter what happens, there is the person right next door... Thinking about how you screwed them in court... Plotting their revenge.

Whether it is noise, or throwing garbage over your fence, or whatever, you need resolution not a judgement in your favour.

I have one of those too. There is no law against looking out your window, sitting in your yard, or just being out when your out. It depends on aggravating, a lot of communities have an arbitration panel (associated with the police) that can be called. If he is verbally or physically harassing you, that is another matter to be taken up with the police.
