Well I installed GIMP a while back now and I didn't like it so I uninstalled it. But now every picture I download opens with not JPEG or BMP, it opens with GIMP. So when this happends, I can't see the picture I just downloaded because I unistalled GIMP already! I would be extremely greatful for whoever answers this question, I will give the person that gives me the answer a cookie :)

What graphics program are you using now? You need to associate graphics file types with your program. Many graphics programs will let you do this easily. For example, in IrfanView (an excellent free graphics program) you choose Options > File Associations and then check off all the file types you want (or just select all).

Right click on a JPG/BMP file and select "open with" > Choose Program. Select the graphics program you want to use, and check "always use this program"

chomp chomp - thanks !

EDIT: Out of curiosity, what didn't you like about it? It is really fully featured...
