On the front of your drive there should be a tiny pin hole, take a straightened out paperclip and push it into the hole. This hole is for "emergency ejects." Or you could simply try to restart the computer. There is probably nothing wrong with your computer, it most likely just got caught in a loop or something.

First, power off, and turn off power at surge protector. This will totally clear memory.
Try to open the door again - gently.
If that doesn't work - you may have to get a flashlight - on some PCs the CD/ROM drive has a miniscule hole into which I would very carefully insert a wooden toothpick. It might work.

Well a knife used gently worked for me. But if necessary, you will have to open the computer, and eject the cd from inside, Every drive is a little different, so I can't give you one answer on how to do it.

I've had that happen when the disk gets jammed in there at an awkward angle. There's a little hole below the door. Stick a paper clip in that puppy, see if that will get it to come out, even a little bit. Otherwise jimmy a knife into the side of it and pry it out manually (slowly and carefully).

look at the front of your cd drive. look for a small pinhole. Take a paperclip straignten it out. Stick it in the hole. It should open. If it doesn't the cd could have jammed it.

Take a paper clip, bend it straight and push it into the tiny release hole just to the top left of the regular eject button.
