is high school really a big thing to worry about? will people really throw pennies at you? will they make fun of you if ur a little shorter than other kids in the class? i start high school next year and i just wanted to know and what about they way you dress? i think im really freaked out. what should i do? =[

okay... im a total shortie..im in 10th grade and all my friends and all the freshmen i know are taller than me... and its not looked down on... yes im called "shortie" but its affectionate... as for pennies.. depends on how immature the upper classman are... some freshamn are haized really roughly, others just seem to blend and dont get bothered at all... and the way you dress... dont change it for high school... high school is sorta a way to figure yourself out... find YOUR style... define who YOU are... you dont want to go shopping and buy everything the preps are wearing just to fit in... youd be a salmon swimming up stream... youd just be another teenager in high school... make friends with people in different classes that you have... youll probably find some upper classman that will befriend you since you know pretty much all of the freshman (or in your case up and comming freshman)... just be yourself and dont worry about others too much... if you show that rumors will get to you then therell be a lot of em floating around... remember there will always be a girl that hates you because of jealousy... always be a boy that thinks hes better than you... but thats life... there will always be those people... i mean last year some chick found a note i wrote to the guy i was dating at the time and photocopied it and posted it around the school... i didnt let it bother me... and since nobody has spread a rumor and people dont try to get to me... just be you and dont stress... its just another part of your life... youll survive... Promise..

I am a junior and I have almost seen it all. Don't worry. If you just be yourself and not try to be fake you will be okay. Yea you will be new to high school but be friendly, Making friends will help you avoid a lot of stress during school and who knows you might need extra help in one of your classes. Also try not be conceited, or act like it anyway. This is where I made my mistake my 9th grade year. Have some self esteem and take pride in your self but don't take it to the extreme. Also stay out of trouble. Work may seem a bit easy @ first but as soon as you start to slack off things will get harder.

High School isn't really that big a thing to worry about. Sure, it might be a little scary at first, but in no time you'll feel completely comfortable. At far as what they wear, it probably isn't really any different than the types of clothing you wear right now.

high school isnt really that big of a deal. its baisicly like middel school except people are taller and older. and no they dont throw pennies at you. the most they'll do is call you "fresh meat" yeah some people are still inmature but just ignore them and in my school theres four baisic groups.. ghetto styles, preppy, punk/goth/emo, and dorky/nerdy. high school usually have uniforms. even with uniforms people have different styles. just calm your nerves think about the good things that will happen bad things usually dont

yes to all of the above...learn to deal with all of that and just enjoy yourself...these are some of the best years of your life...everyone else is freaking out to for next year so you are not alone!
