ICE

If you use heat all it will do is make a bigger mess ( believe me I have tried)

SImply hold some ice to the wall ( wear gloves b/c it gets cold after awhile) and it will just harden after awhile and you can pull it right off NO TEARS IN THE WALL>>>>NO MESS!!!

Take a paper towel and a WARM iron to the wall. Putting the paper towel between the two surfaces will draw out the wax without leaving grease stains.

You can try using an iron, on low, and a section of a brown paper bag between the wall and the iron. The heat, of course, melts the wax and the paper absorbs the wax (I've done it with paper towels, too). I've also used Goo-gone on a picture frame and that worked, too. I've done the same thing a couple of times, get yourself a candle snuffer:) Good luck.

pick off what you can- there is a product you can purchase at most craft stores that will remove wax from walls, carpet, etc. just ask for a wax remover.
In the future- never blow out your candles- either snuff them or better yet- dip the wicks- use a piece of wire to push the wick into the melted wax this will keep you from splattering wax, it will prime the wick for the next use and it will keep you from getting the black soot/ smoke when oyu extinguish your candles

i heard that you can use a brown paper bag and an iron to get it off. The paper bag will keep the iron from burning the wall and catch the wax while the iorn melts the wax
