If so, what happened? Did you get your period a few days later...or breakthrough bleeding & also did you have a normal pregnancy? My doc told me that it was fine to start trying as soon as you finish the pack of pills but the problem is I'm on that pill that lets you have a period every 3 months, so that means I won't finish this pack until March & we don't want to wait that long to start to conceive! Any suggestions??

Ask the dr if it's ok to stop. I don't see any reason why you should finish it if you don't want to. It took me a while to get pregnant after I got off the pill, but everyone is differant.

I have heard you should wait at least 5 weeks so your body can get nack to it's normal state. After all you have all the time in the world isn't it better to wait and to give your baby the healthiest body to grow in possible??? Try not to be selfish, you should see a gyno if you want to plan a baby he can tell you the best time to try and how much time to wait

If your doctor told you to finish the pack, you should've finished the pack.
Discontinuing usage mid cycle will only throw your hormones out of whack.
It's hard to say when you'll be able to conceive, just keep trying.
If I were you, I'd call my doctor and ask his/her expert opinion.

I agree, ask your doctor and do what he suggests. Obviously you didn't like the answers you got the last time you asked.
