Im curious to know why people are happy when they are single because I have been single for a year and I am sick of it!

I was just reading this pamphlet on the misunderstood world of single Adults and it appears that the top Advantage when polled, was "Freedom and mobility" but a disadvantage to living single is "Loneliness" which is actually a state of mind. I am now single, but not quite happily yet, until I get over this guy. Now I can be free and work on hobbies I have stuffed away. If you are sick of being lonely, now is definitely the time to beat it by getting out there.

I think i am more happy when i am with someone than when im alone. But then again i have been single for over 5 years now and maybe i am just feeling lonely.

The grass is always greener on the other side regardless of your status. Life is not always happy go lucky unless you are on drugs or alcohol until you drop dead. No one person in this world can make you happy all the time. The best person to do that is yourself. You can biatch all you want, it does not go beyond you.

Happily "married" for nearly 7 years. Haven't ever been happier.
