/\ Yup pretty much. I'm a level 9 now and I haven't done a single thing. But there are other ways to earn points.
"All GameSpot Free Registered and Complete members have levels and rankings. Level increases are caused by a number of different factors in addition to posting. These factors are considered a secret, and so you won't get anyone from GameSpot being much more specific. However, practically everything you do on the site factors into your level somehow, and as always, you are free to speculate, guess, theorize, and postulate all you want."
