It comes on tonight and I don't really hear much about it from any of my friends or on t.v. except Fox, has the hype died down?

Well my mistake, it comes on the 16 and 17.

Oh, don't worry. I'm sure the hype will reach its usual gargantuan proportions soon enough.

I'm sure there will be much to talk about. Since last year's season was so successful, I don't think the hype will go down so quickly so soon. It will last at least for another season or two.
And I'm a huge American Idol fan. I've been watching every season. Now, I can't wait for the new season to start. There's lots of hype among the people I know, at least.
