hey i know i shouldn't ask this on yahoo but i need help really bad! My laptop i got a new battery today and then it was fine later it started running low on battery so i plug it in and then it still was running low what is going on please help me

It must not "see" that it is plugged in or it wouldn't say low battery. I would double check the connections in all three places (at the outlet, at the square box thingy halfway down the cord, and at the laptop). If all of those connections are securely plugged in and it is still saying that then definitely call Dell.

does it light up somewhere when u stick the charger outlet into your computer? if it does and you're still unsure if its still running low or not you should look at one of your icons next to where the time is located (bottom right-hand corner) skim through those and one of them should say "#% remaining (charging)" good luck and i hope i helped. take care

are you sure its plugged in all the way? if your positive that its plugged in but its not working maybe call dell and ask them whats wrong or get a new charger?
