i thought they would too, but i guess the only reason the Buckeyes looked so good was b/c they don't play too many good teams. I'm a Bama fan, but i'm just so glad an SEC team WON!!!!!

No I thought it would be a tussle back & forth. A good tight game. I was worried that all the hype that OSU wouldn't stay focused. What I saw last night was OUT COACHING, a fired up Florida Gators who were out there, focused, and coming off solid games leading to this. They were a better team last night, better coaching and they had the determination.
I still think OSU team is the better team overall but they got their butts whipped. Troy Smith took a beating, the guys never could get it together.
Florida Gators earned the right to be National Champions because they had the plays, the talent, the Outstanding coaching and had their heads in the game to win. They didn't come to stand with OSU, they came to topple. And that is just what they did.

The Buckeyes believed the hype and did not come ready to play. Combine that fact with Tressel being outcoached and you have all the makings of a blow out no matter what teams are playing.
Florida is not that good and the Buckeyes are not that bad....it was just one of those games.
Great thing is that FINALLY their is talk of a playoff a few seasons down the road. If nothing else...Florida somehow managing to win convinced everyone that we need a playoff.
Wow....Florida National Champions.....too funny! Cincinnatti could kick their arses up and down the field on a given day! LOL

If the Championship Game was about 2 weeks at most after both teams played their final games, Ohio State would've crushed Florida.

I thought it woulde be a good game for sure. And that first touchdown had me worried.
But when UF took the field and I saw how they were handling Ohio, I knew it was over!
Yay! Florida shut everyone up, people saying they don't deserve to be in the championship game, and all the media saying Ohio is going to dominate, they are all now eatin' their words! Woot!
