First, I am a big OSU fan!! I graduated from Ohio State after being raised in the community my entire life.
Second, It seemed as if Coach Tressel walked the streets of Columbus and asked any random guy to play for him in the Championship game. Those could not have been our guys who have played so well for the last couple of years. I was embarrassed to say the least. We currently live in Germany and stayed up until 2 am to watch the game. We couldn't go to sleep because there was that little hope that somehow a miracle would happen and they would start playing like Buckeyes again!
The only defense I can think of is that the media hype got to them along with such a long break in between games. It all went to their heads and The Buckeyes never saw such a strong team coming.
Oh well, can't win them all! Kudos to the Gators!!!

WHAT ABOUT THEM????
19 straight game winning streak from 2005 - 2006. To me that is better than a National Championship Bowl. Of course, that would have been the icing on the cake. Troy Smith omg he only won the Heisman Award. They are humble and I don't see them dogging other teams when they lose or getting all bent out of shape. That is because they have the right prospective on games. Did you notice that when Fl players were hurt Troy stood there concerned until Florida's player got up off the ground. Its all about sincerity. I have a lot of respect for Ohio State. We may have lost the fight but not the battle....GOOO BUCKS!!!!!

I agree with you that Boise State and Florida should meet. So once and for all, we would know who really is No. 1 in the country. As far as OSU is concerned, I knew it was going to be a long night when the guy who made that opening TD run sprained his ankle during his TD celebration. That's pretty pathetic.

Ohio State looked bad last night.
Thats one game. Boise St? are you kidding me?
They played one depleted team from a down conference and you think they are great? Not a chance.
Either team would have killed them.

When Ted Ginn Jr hurt his ankle, I bet Florida was so happy. It was looking good for OSU.....at least it was in the first 15 seconds. Everything after that just made me sad. OSU's offensive line was pathetic. They kept letting the Gators get past to take down Troy Smith. It was HORRIBLE.

The media has to mouch power, it's a joke. The whole year OSU is supposed to be this unbeatable team and I'm not even sure if they are the 4th best team.
