My fiance took me to our favourite place in the world- semaphore beach. got a picnic rug out, brought some of our favourite music and we watched the sunset, as soon as I said yes, fireworks went off (which he specially organised) he then walked me down to a marquee where all my family and friends were waiting to party and celebrate with us. He proposed on June 26th our anniversary of our first date and we will be married on March 26th one month after my 24th birthday! He is the love of my life, and I am so happy :-)

My fiance took me to the local park. It was Dec. 13th, so all the Christmas lights and decorations were up. He took me to the gazebo, also lighted and decorated, had me sit on a bench, got down on one knee and said: "We've been together for a year and five months and I want to make it atleast 65 more years, so will you marry me." I was speechless, and all I could say was, "Yeah." Haha. I had a great line planned: "Nothing in this world would make me happier than being your wife." But 'yeah' was all that came out. It was perfect. I'll never forget how incredible it was.

My neighbors and I put together a birthday party for her. When I bought the cake, I had the store write the proposal on the cake right below the 'Happy Birthday' part. When I presented the cake, she was very surprised and everyone was asking 'Well, what's the answer?'

She said, "Yes", and the rest is history....

Well, I said something to him like "you know, my parents are going to be really upset if we 'just live together' for the rest of our lives because they're brain washed by their religion like that" and he said to me "yea, I know, but I want to live with you until we die" and I said, "well then you're going to have to marry me because it's easier than dealing with the parents" and he said "well, I guess we're engaged then". And that was that.

THis is painful. He didn't. He ended up doing it on the phone b/c I made him say the words. This pain causes a huge rift. not to mention a huge chip on my shoulder!
