Well, i'd say between the brain and the answerman, you both summed it up perfectly. But to add my two cents to it, Brady is far superior because of the obvious Sb rings, better playoff record, superior team, superior management, etc, etc.
But what makes Brady even better than manning are his intangibles, such as timing, reading the blitz and avoiding the sack, reading and surveying the field better than anyone, much less manning ever has. Motivating his team to victory, having the mental smarts week in and week out. Being a consistent player, being classy off the field and not badmouthing or questioning your coach or teammates and even taking the onus on yourself when you didn't have to.
Bottom Line: When it's all said and Done Tom Brady will be the best Quarterback of all time, period!! Not just against manning, but farve, marino, elway, starr, montana, unitas, etc. He'll have more SB rings, winning percentage, all of it. And he'll do so with a class and dignified manner that has been unprecedented.
So colts fans, stick it up your butt, because you can have all the individual records and passing Td's you want, but at the end of the day it's about winning and nobody, and I mean nobody is better than tom brady when it comes to winning. And even the great Bart Starr said the only thing that matters is winning Sb's and he has five of them to know. Soon Brady will have six with #4 coming this year.

What have you done for me lately. Manning has been on a roll against Brady the last few games. He can even win at New England now. Brady got his wins with a Super Bowl caliber team. Peyton's team was, well not so great. For years it's been all about what Manning can do to win the game,but now they got a good enough team to be in the game when Manning isn't playing well. Those Patriot team's of the past could have won the Super Bowl with Ryan Leaf at QB. Don't get me wrong he is a good QB, but not a great one. I doubt the Pat's or the Colt's will make it to the Super Bowl this year, but the days of New England always beating the Colt's are over.

I'd take Tom Brady over any other NFL quarterback, including Manning. He is a winner. Three Super Bowl Championships in the last five years, for example. Manning just cannot win the big games. He chokes. Brady never does.

Some may say Peyton Manning is better because he has good stats. However, I think Tom Brady is much better because he is 11 and 1 in the playoffs.

Tom Brady hands down. Manning doesn't know how to win and Brady always beats him. Athletically Manning might be a little better but if were talking about skill look at the USA basketball team. All skill that's it, they're horrible.

Tom Brady is beacuse he does not even have a number one reciver and he still throws all over teams. Payton on the other hand has the top reciving core in the NFL today. Harrison best hands, Wayne Stright insane, and stockly ( hope i spelled that right) who is a good white boy. any one of those recivers could be a number one on any team so if payton didn't put up them big numbers then he would just suck like his lil' bro eli

You realize that Brady being 6-2 against him means nothing. They aren't playing one-on-one. It's a team game. You can't say flatout that anyone is better than anyone else. You have to take into consideration the receivers they through to, the defence covering the receivers, the o-line protecting the quarterback, the weather, etc.

Tom Brady for sure. Watch him tear up the Chargers D this upcoming game. LT is going to be a threat for us though. But back to the question. Toms got the bling to back up the talent. Although people bring up Dan Marino when I say this, he my friend was an exception.
