watch fitv and eat less if you eat too much! im not saying starve yourself (personal experience) but if u eat too much, cut down a little and if you want to eat a lot, eat a lot of fruit and veggies. Make sure you eat breeakfast, if you dont, you wont energy to run and do things to burn calories during the day! Hope this helps!

At 16 yrs. old, I dont really think this should be an issue right now in your life. Especially if it is a small amount of weight as it is. Your body has a lot of changes in the next few years, so you may not even have those few pounds extra. Running and conditioning is a good work out, You can also do some sit ups, or light toning activities. Depending on any problem areas you think you have.

If you are worried about 5 to 10 lbs- don't worry. Weight will normally fluctuate slightly. Water and salt levels in your body can fluctuate that much normally. Some people naturally gain a little weight before a growth spurt. Still 16, you might grow a little taller yet. Don't even worry about it. Just eat healthy and get regular exercise, and your body will pretty much take care of itself. And do not get so caught up in what the media says is your ideal weight or size.

If you are only five pounds over weight, you are not truely overweight. Those few extra pounds are called vanity pounds.Meaning that they do not truly pose a health threat. You really don't need a diet and workout makeover.Try walking a little more, and skipping that afternoon snack. Those few little pounds will come right off.

run!
running is awesome for your calves, butt, thighs, heart, arms (if you move them back and forth), and your breathing.
