In my opinion, with punk like metal older is better. The sex pistols, The Ramones, Misfits, The Clash...old is good. With the new stuff in a way they lost what punk stood for I mean an ever famous punk rock line "I fought the law and the law won" I mean it was mostly about politics and how you have the power not the government. I mean I'm not trashing new punk I mean some new stuff is good, but when your talking the best old is the way to go. I mean these bands get their influences on older bands like Green Day I mean their old punk rock stuff was awesome, but they got their influences from The Ramones, My Chemical Romance got their style of music from Iron Maiden and The Misfits. In the end it's all based on opinion.
