In all leagues I have played in you can't bunt, steal, or lead off. Probably because we usually try to hide our least athletic guy at catcher!

yea you can ive been playing FAST pitch softball for 10 years im 14 now.. you can bunt any pitch.. its not the smartest to bunt on a slow pitch because you might as well go for the big homer insted of just a sacrofice out... try it maybe it will work for you!
people are saying no but you can.. ive been playing on travle teams i practice almost everyday and i know everything about it! its just not worth bunting a slow pitch softball...

of COURSE! Bunting can win games! it did for the Latin America team in the Junior League Softball World Series! You can in ASA too, I bunt all the time.

No.But (just so the paraghraph is'nt too short!) I LOVE softball and play in a leauge. I'm trying to get pitching lessons but, we have'nt find any yet.Also last year our team was called the Knowledge Quest! It was ridiculous! Bye!

As far as I know you can't "bunt" but you can swing easy enough to make it a bunt.

No..bunting is illegal. And "soft" swinging or "chopping" down on the ball is illegal as well
