How does the playstation 3 visual player work?

Question

if you wiggle the right analong stick around while music is playing and the visual player is running, the pretty pictures change, speed up slow down, but i can't figure out any rhyme or reason to how they change. help me out, yo

I have no idea. Maybe it's a random thing, because I couldn't figure it out either. It may be like the Windows Media Player, just different types in different colors.

Sadly no. One of the things I really rate the Xbox360 over the PS3 is that xbox has way better visualisers Oh well
