The sun will naturally bleach out clothing, especially if you leave out way too long. Just leave outside for a few hours and then bring them in, hang them up if not 100% dry. What I like about hanging the clothes outside, you get a freshness smell that you dont get with running them through the dryer.

Ultra Violet radiation damages the fibers in clothing, it generally attacks the pigment first, then starts to destroy the molecular integrity of the fibers so that the garment will not be as durable.

unfortunately, the UV rays from the sun singe the clothes whilst drying them. so, all in all, yes. that's what will happen as it "cooks" your clothes.
