Im not a smoker but i would have the occasional one on a drunken night so i was wanting to know if i can still do that or does it reduce how well it works?

It does not reduce its effectiveness - antibiotics due so be careful when you are sick... The reason they dont like you to smoke on bc is because it is bad for your health not for the effectiveness.

the only thing i can say to you is if its microgynon 30 may be smoking can effect it i was on that when i stopped smoking but after 2 years i started to smoke i never forgot it i took it every day same time and and after 10 months of starting the smoking and still taking microgynon 30 i became pregnant so im not saying yes or no im just telling you what happened with me so please just be very careful.

As a smoker myself, let me clarify that not all smokers are as inconsiderate as the ones you decribe. I only smoke in public when there is a smoking section or if I'm far enough away from the crowd. People who smoke in crowded areas bother me as well, believe it or not. Not all of us are so rude to simply light up when/where ever we want. I remember what it was like to be a non-smoker and it's not fun to be surrounded by it when it's not a habit of yours. Unfortunately, manners are seeming to become something of the past.

Smoking will not affect the effectiveness of the pill. Drinking may if you take the pill and then throw it up after drinking! Be careful;

Im on that pill n i smoke so u should be fine if u only have the occasional few when drunk

No smoking doesn't.

Read the leaflet..............smoking does increase risks such as deep vein thrombosis and cancer when taking the pill aswell.

All information you need about any medication will be on the printed leaflet.

smoking and drinking til your drunk can reduce the pill so domnt drink do drugs or smoke all bad for your health
