Sounds weird but yea it's possible. Your body over time tries to push foreign objects out. I had tiny pieces of plastic from my gear shift surfacing in my hand about 1 1/2 years after my wreck.

Very normal,don't worry.Since it would be surgically impossible to remove such debris,it naturally finds it way to the skin surface .My brother still has some shrapnel from Viet Nam working it's way out of shoulder wound,that was 1970. SW RNP

Not unheard of, and since glass doesn't degrade, it may go on for as long as the person is alive.
My uncle was involved in a chainsaws accident, and was still expunging pieces of wood for the next 15 years proceeding his death

You certainly aren't alone. I had it too. I had glass pieces popping up at my hair line near my face several years later. It's good that they work their way out instead of staying in where they could fester up later.
