It's not a guy, it is a crocodile. Jack The Ripper did not kill 300 people, no human ever has.

i honestly think that it is beyond impossible for any human to kill well over 300 people. the movie is based on a croc. it takes place in Africa. i really do not approve of the way the trailers portraying a human when it is actually an animal that is doing it. an animal do not have a title of a serial killer, because most animals in the wild do kill, it is in their nature.

The movie's killer is based on a 25 foot alligator named "Gustave". He apparently killed and consumed over three hundred Africans. The people involved, or that knew the whereabouts of the reptile evidently were too afraid to go anywhere near the predator, or anywhere where he'd been rumored to reside, so he has never been caught.

The movie is based on Pedro Lopez who admitted to killing 300 people in South America. In the movie, they're gonna catch the Crocodile named Gustave, but end up in a drug lords trail.
