The scent is pleasant (most of them are), but I don't really think it is necessary, so why do they put it in there?

So that for those of us with husbands that use an unnatural amount of oil/grease to cook their food, dishwashing is a more tolerable, nay, even a pleasant experience. If dishsoap wasn't scented, I do not think I would be washing dishes overly much. LOL! Actually, it's more than likely a marketing strategy.

i think of the scent of dishwashing liquid is larger than the scent of the nutrition that have been given washed off the dishes. additionally, there are some organic and organic-type of soaps at wellbeing nutrition shops that have not got any perfumes. yet, such as you mentioned, this is extra high priced.

For your benefit. Most ladies enjoy the different scents of perfume,etc, including the scent of soap, dish washing soap, laundry soap, lotions,etc. It is for the person who is doing the dishes.

Plates and Glasses really stink after they're used... and the only way to get rid of the bad odours is scent... usually lime scent works...

To make washing dishes an invigorating experience! Aaaahhh, aromatherapy! You don't need a massage to relax...just do the dishes! LOL!

because dishwater can smell a little after a few dishes have been washed so this covers that, plus certain smells have been shown to be relaxing to your mind and when washing dishes,you need it,lol

The more a consumer likes a scent the more a consumer will use the pruduct...thus buying more
