I was 16. I was in high school and traveling around with friends on the weekends. My mom wanted to keep tabs on me. I never really used it until I started senior year.
My brother just turned 16 and has a job that sometimes keeps him til midnight. With no car, he needs rides from family. So, my mom got him a pre-paid phone. It's a great idea I think.
