Carole Morin

Carole Morin was born in Glasgow. At sixteen she became a junior diplomat to the United Sates. Her first job, as associate editor of Granta magazine, was dead boring. She escaped to New York with the company credit card and wrote her first novel, 'Lampshades', while suffering from a tubercular toe.
She has been writer-in-residence at Wormwood Scrubs prison and Literary Fellow at the University of East Anglia. Her autobiography, 'Dead Glamorous', is in development with BBC Films.
