18 is a factor of 36, so we can ignore it.
21 = 3*7 and 36 = 4*9 (expressed as products of prime powers), so the LCM will be 4*9*7 = 252.
Apparently a LOT of answerers don't know the difference between least common multiple and greatest common factor.

This person is asking for the least common, not the most common, so the least common of multiple of 18 is 18 because it only goes in there once, the same with 21, 21 is the least common multiple because it only goes in there once, as well as 36, 36 is the least common multiple of 36 because it only goes in there once. An example of a multiple that is more common for 36, would be 4, because it goes into 36, 9 times, where nine would be less common because it only goes in 4 times.
However if you were asking what is the least common multiple of all of the numbers, then that woud be 3. because it is the only number that goes into all three of those numbers (18,21 and 36) other than 1, where 1 would be a lot more common because it takes a lot more ones to make a number than it does any other number (i.e. it takes 18 1's to make 18 vs. only 6, 3's to make 18)

18 and 36 are related because 18 is a factor of 36.
36 = (2^2)*(3^3)
21 = (3*7)
The LCM will be (2^2)(3^3)(7)
So, 4*9*7 = 36 * 7 = 252
252 is the LCM of 18, 21, and 36.

wow i cant believe some of these answers....the GREATEST COMMON FACTOR is 3 (3 x 6=18), (3 x 7=21), (3 x 12=36)....the LEAST COMMON MULTIPLE is 252 (21 x 12), (36 x 7), (18 x 14)....

Well find what all three numbers will go into. Since 18 is half of 36, just figure out what 21 and 36 will both go into.
