I want to be a teacher when I get older so I would like to know how this works. When I was in elementary school we only had 1 teacher and she taught all of the subjects but, do some elementary schools have different teachers for each subject or do the kids go to a different classroom for each subject?

Some schools make one teacher teach all subjects exept gym, art, and music. Then from 4th to 5th grade, you have different teachers from art, music, gym, plus social studies, science, and math. ILA is taught by homeroom teachers.

From grades 1-6 I had one teacher for all subjects except for French and Computers, and even then, the French teacher came to our regular classroom to teach us. After grade 6 I had a different teacher for every subject, and the students had to go to the teacher's classroom.

I had the same teacher for every class up until about 3rd grade. In 3rd grade, they'd send me to a different teacher for history, and I think maybe math or science. It's been awhile since I've been in elementary school. But I know kindergarden-2nd grade I had teh same teacher for all subjects. Exept for like the 'elective' classes, like art, gym, music and things like that.

No. The main teacher teaches math, reading, language arts, science, and social studies. Then other teachers teach physical education, art, music etc. It changes to different teachers for each subject in middle school.

I am from Oklahoma and most of the 4th and 5th grades do rotate to the other classes for different subjects. Spelling & Reading with one teacher, Math and English with another, and Science and Social Studies with another. They are starting to get them prepaired for Jr. High when they have to go to different class for each one.

I believe Troys I paintings with kids and I consider it's greater to have them with one instructor, such a lot kids have got to get to understand the individual earlier than beginning up and think nontoxic or even running good a million instructor is the first-rate factor for them peculiarly grades ok-three 4th grade and up they come to be a little bit extra impartial an in general just like the concept of one more individual the difference.

No. But in 5th grade you usually have 1-3 teachers. All the periods and lot of teacher things start in 6th grade.

well you are right but once you get to be a fifth grader you might have 1-3 teachers. It is not subjects but it's grade level. Like for example for reading groups there are three levels one for for easy, average, then advanced. say they are three classrooms for fifth graders. Mr.R has the easy readers from any class then, Mr.b has the average kids from any class and Mrs.S has the advanced and it's same with math or maybe science.
