Wow, I didn't think anyone listened to it anymore. I like Front Line Assembly, Haujob, and X Marks the Pedwalk. They are also European bands, but all their stuff is in English. Different than American industrial, that is mostly like NIN and Marilyn Manson, Ministry, etc. You don't see lot of the industrial music anymore because it "evolved" into trance music but it lost most of it's meaning in the process and in nite clubs what passes for trance now is meaningless thumping and the same old lyrics about sex, drugs, etc. A lot of good industrial music was released on the Cleopatra record label. (Google it.) A lot of it is older music. There are some trance bands/artists that still make music with the same depth of meaning as industial bands did, but they are reletively few and sometimes hard to find. Paul Van Dyke, Paul Oakenfold, etc.
Not sure if you like the hard sound of Rammstein... some industrial bands sound like that, but most like that only focus on the negative side of the story. Other bands sound more electronic or not so hard. I would say listen to both kinds of music, listen carefully and think. It's not a positve, negative, or anything else kind of thing. Just listen carefully and think. Hopefully you'll get the whole point of industrial music.

I used to listen to it when I was in high school, and it first came out, bands like Kraftwerk etc.. I can definitely see the lure, with the strong beats, raspy melodies, and grinding effects, but I am afraid my tastes in music have changed a bit since then.
