Sometimes I go to McDonald's and get a double cheeseburger and fries with a side of Big Mac sauce on the side. They charge me either nothing or 30 cents, but I dip my fries in it or put it on my burger for the big mac taste without the price. I'm that poor.

If you got any answers yet, it's all going to be Thousand Island dressing.
They must use some different kind though.
If you make a 'home-made' big mac and use the Kraft dressing, it just doesn't taste the same.
Guess that's why Mc D's makes the big bucks.

Believe it or not, the secret sauce is NOT just thousand island dressing.
From Wikipedia:
"The sauce differs from Thousand Island dressing, contrary to popular belief. The Big Mac sauce is rather thicker at room temperature than almost all salad dressings, and even more so when refrigerated. The degree of sweetness may also be a significant difference, depending on the specific thousand-island dressing being compared."
Also from wikipedia, here is the list of ingredients:
"Although the precise recipe for what McDonald's itself now terms Big Mac Sauce remains a secret, the ingredients are as follows: Soybean oil, pickles, distilled vinegar, water, egg yolks, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, onion powder, ketchup, mayonnaise, corn syrup, spice and spice extractives, salt, xanthan gum, mustard flour, propylene glycol alginate, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate as preservatives, mustard bran, garlic powder, hydrolyzed (corn gluten, wheat, and soy) proteins, caramel color, extractives of paprika, turmeric, calcium disodium EDTA to protect flavor."

Yes it is thousand island dressing, and they have reconstituted onions on it (dried onions that have been soaked in cold water), with lettuce and pickle. You can also make your own sauce, just use ketchup, salad dressing (miracle whip), and sweet pickle relish. A&W used to make it themselves for their Papa Burgers which were the samething as the Big Mac.
