I am planning ahead for the next one because my last one sucked.. I want to go all out.. & want to end up somewhere that does it big (i.e. NY, Paris, etc..)

If you want big fireworks and big celebrations without everyone being so drunk that it takes the fun away try Hong Cong Harbor, or Sydney Harbor (Australia). Something else thast you might try is Chinese new years yet to come January 29.

In your case somewhere on the east coast! If that one is a bummer catch a flight and head west for a few hours where the time should still be sometime in December. And finally if all fails, your last hope for something of a decent party could have you dancing in California! And who knows? Have an air mileage program? Try Hawaii for warmth and serenity.
