I need to download a driver for my Altec Lansing speakers- how do I do this?

Speakers dont need a driver, any brand, any kind.

If I were you, I will include the speaker model number etc so that others can help me to do a SEARCH using Google for the driver
Usually speaker do not need a driver
probably yr speaker is connected through the USB port
go to altec lansing website
if they have a SEARCH BOX, do this
keyin your speaker model number
then select the best file (check the name and desc)
or
check your speaker model
go to FILES DOWNLOAD
select the best file from name and description

Errr, most speakers just plug into the sound card - don't need drivers. Might need an amplifier if the speakers ain't got one built in.
