Why would you? That's mean! I guess because you think it's ugly? I guess because you think it's a mean animal? Well, I guess then most of the people on earth should also be killed if we are going to examine the killing of a shark and the reasons for it. the best way to kill them is a good blow to the head, as far as the ammonia, the trick is not that they need to be cleaned quick (although this is impotant), they need to be bled quick, usually the fastest way I've found is bleeding them out though the gills, then ice them as quick as possible. Beyond that, I know I lot of people who will take the steaks and soak them overnight in the fridge in either milk or a brine solution

The dolphins clobber'em in the gills repeatedly, and also their soft underbelly. But being you're a human, you might want to feed it a fruitcake. Those things are deadly.
