I totally say "totally" like in every other sentence. I know I need to stop but I just can't find any other qualifier that works as well.

I'm not a teenager and don't feel the need to say "totally" and "like" every other word. sorry.
I say it on occasion when it is needed not just for the hell of it.

Rarely. As an adverb form, it would be used only with some verb to indicate extent.

I say it a lot! .. my big problem is "Dude" though. Which is weird b.c I'm a girl .. all my friends say it tho its so funny .. I think I picked it up from them [you do that subconciously w. your friends sometimes haha]
