It all depends on what type of frog it is. Bullfrogs can eat fish. It could also just be the water qyuality not the frog. Most frogs can live in any type of water. If you have goldfish you might have a high ammonia level.. You should take a smaple of water to a pet store and get it tested. If it is ammonia you need to do a 100% water change.

What usually happens is the frogs, during their mating season, get a grip of fish in place of a female frog.

If it's a native frog no?But a frog can kill a fish when thay are spawning thay somtime's grab on to a fish around the gill's and this suffacate's them so keep an eye on them at this time. Goodluck

You did not say that the fish disappeared so he did not eat them. However, not all marine life is compatible in the same tank. He might be taking too much oxygen away from the fish or his waste/bacteria could be toxic to the fish. Is the food you feed the frog compatible for goldfish? All it takes is one ingredient that isn't. Lastly, can your filter handle the job?
