Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen. It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification.

Love is whatever you think it is, and then some!

Some people consider love to be, "the fifth sense", and in a way, that is politically correct. Words can't even fully explain love. Love can be very confusing sometimes, I personally believe you can love a person, but they won't lobve you back, or the other way around. Don't worry, you'll feel it. when your in love

Note to EVERYONE!-

If you want to ask someone out, than ask them, if they don't accept your offer, go on to the next person, It's well worth the risk. I mean, not everyone is going to love you. Maybe they will?

Human beings are an anomaly. We appear in the universe as rarities, with a purpose we have yet to grasp, and yet we work hard to achieve some measure of progress in order to enrich ourselves and maybe the rest of the universe as well. Love is the genetic icing on the cake. We crave its warmth and energy because it helps to make life more tolerable. We use it to nurture our young ones and to make old age somewhat bearable. Love keeps us alive during times of crisis and gives us hope when all is lost. At least, that's my opinion.

Love is an emotion. it comes in different forms like, family love (sister, brother, and parent) it comes in the way of sexual feelings(Eros, intimate with another person) The feeling is a lightness in your walk, you are more aware of things around you. Love is at the threshold of Heaven, imagine how it's going to feel when we go through that doorway!! Start Loving.

Love is several things. It's:
-a powerful feeling that you just want to be with someone and can't stop loving them and if they leave you, you become sad.
-something that mankind will never completely understand
-a popular topic for poems and songs
...and much much more.

Your explanation of love also depends on who you are and how you think. And I think there is no official or correct explanation of love.

i believe that love is how u interpret it! love isnt a word or feeling or something you can buy, love is too pure, to be described these words cant truely explain love because love is too beyond anything mortal, Love is a gift and shouldn't be passed around lightly, you can only truly know what love is until you loose it, then u have to fight for it. beacuse love is worth fighting for xxxxxxxxx

bit sappy i know...but i feel really philosophical today hehe

You cannot explain love unless you have loved. You cannot explain love unless you have loved and lost. Once love is obtained, it is the ultimate naked revealing soul opening of one's human mind and body.
