Actually your period subsides. Doesn't stop. But there is no trail of blood in the water unless you are a severe bleeder. I recommend tampon also to use. Sometimes you might now feel like going swimming when your on your period anyway.

I understand your confusion. Your period doesn't stop. You need to wear a tampon...I wouldn't recomend a pad. You need to change it more often than usual though because your more suseptible to bacteria and that sort of thing, especailly make suer you change it once you get out of the water. It's a little uncomfortable for some at first, but you'll be ok.

It does not stop in water - bathtub experience if you must know, however, wearing a tampon should be all the protection you need. You should probably change into a fresh tampon before and after you swim. Have a good trip!

no, honey your period never stops. (unfortunately.) wear a tampon if it's not too painful. or wear a pad, but then get one of those swimsuits that cover your period area....you know what i mean. like they cover you, they're like shorts. but wearing a pad might not be a good idea for swimming, cuz it could still leak through. and it is going to leave a mark. my suggestion: just wear tampons, or if there are period-proof bathing suits..lol i don't know i don't think there is such thing, im just making that up..lol or if u dont want to wear a tampon, just wait till ur period is over.

Well it doen't stop when in water it delutes it but then when you get out you will be leaving a trail. Why not wear a tampon if you find out that day you have your period?

No it doesn't. It is likely that when you get out of the water, there may be traces of red water. I recommend taking some tampons and if you start, use them.

No it doesn't but you could wear a tampon not a pad. Pads just going to soak water from the ocean.
