Disreguard that first person. That was totally rude! You should call your Dr. ASAP! It could be some kind of a infection. You are close to the end so it could be a variety of things. Only your Dr. can give you the right answer.

Hi there,

I am 37 weeks, and have exactly the same thing!! The doctor did an ultrasound to make sure the amniotic levels were normal, and they are. The smell, from what I've discovered from my research is normal for some people. I wash all the time. Get in the tub, hose off, use a cloth, wear liners. It helps, but a couple of hours later I can smell it again. However my husband says he cant smell it..It's probably because our noses are more sensitive to the smells. Mention it to your doctor to be sure you dont have an infection though.

Good luck

COULD BE AN INFECTION, ANYTIME YOUR DISCHARGE IS COLORED (YELLOW, GREEN, ETC) OR SMELLS YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DOC. ASAP, NOT AN EMERGENCY, BUT NEXT BUSINESS DAY, PREGNANT OR NOT.
