Why is everyone coming here for us to change their mind about killing themselves?

If a person is depressed the last thing they want to hear is someone who is heartless. Yes I know there also those who prey on people and can also make a big production about it when they are just fooling around and messing with people's heads.
That's not good for those people who are serious about taking their lives. It's important to help them to get help in the right direction even if it means to some counselling.
When a person is depressed they need to know that some one out there actually does care because when you hit rock bottom you think the whole world is against you.
Sure we aren't going to get along with every one in this world but I would not like to hear about something in the newspaper about something that happens to a person while being on line when it happens.
I would have to wonder if someone on line said something to push them over the edge and it would be sad for that person if they were the one who said something that did push them over the edge.
People can be really mean and it sure doesn't hurt if people would extend a little kindness when necessary even if it does mean helping to prevent that from happening.
I also want to add that no matter who you are or what you have done or where you are at in life now all human life is meaningful and has purpose. No one is dirt. We are all special.

i went a step further. i did jump off a bridge. but it was only a 13 foot fall, and the water was deep. and also, i was only doing it for fun in the summertime
