umm i wouldn't know i have never had a paper cut this is pretty sad 18 years and no papercuts i hear they hurt but i don't know. i can't even get a papercut if i try
i kinda want to know how they feel

Papercuts hurt the worst. Especially because they happen when you least expect it.

Yes. And here's why. Paper cuts can cause surprisingly acute pain since they usually stimulate a large number of skin surface pain receptors (nociceptors) in a very small area of the skin. Because the shallow cut does not bleed very much, the pain receptors are left open to the air, ensuring continued pain. This is exacerbated by irritation caused by the fibers in the paper itself, which may be coated in chemicals such as bleach. Additionally, most paper cuts occur in the fingers, which have a greater concentration of sensory receptors than the rest of the body.

Aren't they just. Paper looks so weak. You just sit at your desk, feeling safe, shuffling a few bits of paper, next minute an injury that hurts for days. How is that right?

I think a dull chainsaw blade accross the back of ones head might qualify as being a bit worse or sitting on an umbrella but thats about it.....

Yes. I help prepare menus for patients at the hospital and we have a huge drawer full of paper menus and it's always a crap shoot every time I stick my hand in there.
