There is a little bit of bubbles at the top of the tank, not too many though. They are VERY dark and the male is still chasing the female. Should I wait longer or have they already eaten their eggs?

I have a small foam filter and heater. I put a small patch of breeding grass and a little bit of fake plants. There is also a hollow rock in there. Is there anything else I need?

Have you seen any eggs? If all you have is a little bit of bubbles then there are no eggs. Gouramis build bubble nests like bettas, only they will also weave plant pieces into their nest. You will notice a very elaborate nest before there are any eggs.

It is recomended you take the eggs out of the aquarium anyways, just incase, unless you have a very good parent like some cichlids. I would put them in another tank just incase. If you can't see any eggs at all right now, it's probably too late, but look for them anyways :) Good luck.

As far as I know - you don't remove the eggs, they wouln't eat them. They eat the small fish when they just come out of the eggs. So give them plenty of food and when you notice that the litlle fishes are out - separate big ones from the fish tank and put them somewhere else till the small ones grow sufficiently.
