Because you have your facts and priorities backwards. You see, since 1985, terrorists have been hitting at America around the edges until, on Sept 11, went for the throat.
No President can do anything Congress doesn't bless in one way or another. So, your fear of a President, unless its Carter or Clinton ( Gore and Kerry didn't make it). Right now, my worry is congress. all those bleeding heart liberals wanting to just pull the troops out of Iraq and walk away. We did that in Nam and took second place in the Southeast Asia War Games. As you know from history, the North wiped out the south, slaughtered thousands of South Viet Namese in the name of the North, and nothing was done.
At least right now, we have the terrorists busy in Iraq and Afghanistan and should we up and pull out, they will be knocking on our door in no time. Who will you blame then??
The 911 commission blamed both Bush two and Clinton for failing to read the writing on the wall. Since the Marine Barracks in Lebanon, the terrorists have continually tried to hit us hard. Took them several years and tries and yes, they hit us on 911.
So you can be afraid of a President if you want, but I myself, am more worried about congress and all the crap they are wanting to do against this country.

Because your chances of being harmed by a terrorist, (greater now then before the iraq war) are still very slim. You are afriad of some presidents because their bad policies are more likely to hurt you.

Because with a terrorist, you don't see what's comin' till {{{BLAMMO}}} you're dead... However, with a President, you can see the damn train wreck from 5 thousand miles away & there's not a damn thing you can do about it but bend over & kiss yer *** goodbye!! Maybe....?? (Just my opinion ;-)
