One of the green Lantern's is African-American(Black) But they hardly ever show him in the comic books and mainly on the JLA animated series. But I'm sure there are several of them if you visit www.GreenLanternCorps.com or .org

I cant seen to understand ur question. When Alan Scott was Green Lantern, that was back in the Golden Age, which existed from the 1920's into the 1950's. Alan Scott remained a Green Lantern until the beginning of hte silver Age which brought Hal Jordan as a Green Lantern and designated Alan Scott in what we now called Earth-2. The comic title GREEN LANTERN was cancelled with issue #38 in June, 1949.

Hal Jordan was first written as a GL in Showcase 22 in 1959. Hal Jordan's entry as a Gl also revamped the Green Lantern series to #1. So, that would be the closest answer i can give you.

Look him up on Toonopedia. I forget the company that first published Green Lantern, but that title was acquired by the company that eventually became known as DC comics. Toonopedia has a wide variety of articles covering lots of superheroes and other toons. It covers their origins, publishing history, artists and writers.
