nearly (there's one) all adverbs end with ly - e.g. slowly, lately, wonderfully, stupidly, carefully, quickly, barely.
Many adjectives end with ly - e.g. silly, friendly lonely, sly, hilly.
A few nouns end with ly - e.g. family, assembly, analogy, monopoly, jelly.
