on me and in the dream we broke up, we have been together for 8 years and this really bothered me, when I woke up I felt like he really did cheat on me, and I have been going through the whole day feeling like something is wrong, what does this mean, I hate this feeling, I have had these dreams in the past and I hate the feeling they leave me with. FYI: I have never caught my boyfriend cheating, nor do I think he is, but doesnt mean he isnt.

ofcoarse his not cheating on you!! it was just a dream, everyone gets those. just tell someone about it and forget bout it nd you'll be okay. if its possible then maybe you should tell him too but if you cant then dont try to.

Tell him about your dream, then ask, "but you're not cheating are you?" Tell him the dream bothered you and you just need reassurance. If he gets mad or even abusive, either right then or later, consider leaving the relationship- it's not a good sign. Is he already angry a lot or abusive? If so, it's already past time to end the relationship. But if he gives you love and reassurance you can know everything's good.

In my case, I would only date those of my same faith who have the same values of saving sex until marriage, which makes things much easier, but even then it's still essential to keep open comminication at all times.

Any doubts about your boyfriends fidelity
even if only little fleeting doubts
will contribute to you having these dreams
and/or
you are unsure of your own fidelity
again could only fleeting doubts
and/or
you've been made aware of someone else's lack of fidelity
basically though
it's all about trust (or lack thereof)
not neccesarily about their fidelity though
it could be you're having problems trusting him in some area
again, these could be even just those nagging little doubts.

And he probably isn't...but something is nagging you. Those kind of dreams are telling you to address something in your life...not necessarily the BF...but a situation that needs to be righted.

just a dream, let it go. Dreams are no indication of what really goes on.

Tell him about your dream and pay attention to his reaction.

It could be a feeling that you have in your subconscience
