What's the whole buzz with these two? I heard news about O'Donnell making fun of Trump's hair, and Trump calling her names. But can somebody tell me how this all started?

Donald Trump owns the Miss USA Pageant. Recently, he allowed Tara Connor to keep her crown after reported underage drinking and drug use.
After this happened, O'Donnell went on a tirade that personally attacked Trump on The View because she perceives his action as sending a message to teenage girls everywhere that it's okay to engage in that kind of behavior. Trump returned the insults, including calling her a fat pig, and they've been at it ever since.

Well it all started when Miss USA was caught in a scandal for under age drinking and hanging in the New York club scene. Trump came to her defense and Rosie said that he should speak for anyone's bad behavior because he didnt have much morals himself
Then Trump went crazy and called her fat and other really harsh names and it snowballed into this huge War of the Words.
I personally think its not that big of a deal but Trump wanted attention off of Miss USA and more on him and his show.

It all started when Rosie made a comment on The View about Trump filing bankruptcy. He took great offense to the comment because technically he has never filed bankruptcy however, one or more of his businesses have. It's splitting hairs if you ask me. But anyway, they've never liked each other so this was just fuel on the already festering fire. H came back with a comment about her and she retaliated, and so on and so on. They need to just kiss and make up already. Eww, what a thought. Sorry for that.

I say it was Rosie fault because she sticks her nose into everyones' business where it does not belong in the first place and pokes fun of them about it. I hate to say it, Trump is right that she is a horrible entertainer now compare to when she started her talk show which was ok at first but failed after she came out of the closet. Even in her new show with other co-host or co-worker and it already stank anyways and is still going downhill. The show is geared towards women audiences anyways which is why it is failing already.

Rosie started it. She criticized Trump by saying that he's hardly a moral role model for young people across the US.
This was after he didn't strip Miss USA of her crown after she was busted for drinking and partying underage at a New York night club.
After that, everything spun out of control between the two.

I personally think it all started because they both want the media hype, O'Donnell for The View and Trump for the Apprentice. Who is to blame? Who cares really...my thought =) I do, however, think name calling and rude, insensitive comments should be beneath both of them, more so this comment goes to Trump. I remember doing that in the, what was it, the 3rd grade...lol

It started when Rosie made a comment about him giving Miss USA another chance. She made a comment about him not being a good role model. The rest has been mud slinging for attention on his part.

i actually remember! i think it started with the miss USA drinking in a club scandal. Trump owns the pageant and came out to send her to rehab and made a public appearance. Then Rosie made fun of him and it was on. Publicity stunt, maybe to draw media attention away from miss USA in rehab.

Donald "forgave" one of the pageant chicks, Miss USA or Miss Iowa or someone...and let her keep her crown. ROSIE really ripped on him about being the "moral compass", he should judge anyones morals, or what's right or wrong???..she did this on :The View" and while she was doing this she was flipping her hair waaay over, mimicking Donalds comb over.(tee hee hee) HE got reeeeeeeeeeeally mean, calling her FAT (?) and threatened to steal her girlfriend. GO ROSIE!!
