I want something cool like a Zelda like game...and i dont want final fantasy.....any suggestions

The original dark cloud is kind of like the later zelda's. It's alot different in alot of ways too tho.
Kingdom Hearts isn't too bad either, if you like the puzzle aspect you'd probablly like that better.
Do not play that Star Ocean game somoene else put down it's horrible. A couple others you could try are Baldur's Gate, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and X-Men Legends II. When it comes to Rpg's you should definately rent first to see if you like it. Nothing around comes close to Zelda tho.

Okay, For the PS2 there is a list I have
1. Shadow of the Colossus, made by the people who created ICO it makes video games into an art master piece just like ICO did. Has a bow and sword as the main weapons plus puzzles
2. ICO, great game personally one of the best out there for any system.
3.Star Ocean: til the end of time, has a nice combat system which is quite good. It actually took the place of Final Fantasy one year.
4. Okami, Is a game about a wolf and caligraphy and it works very well has many beautiful colors.
There are probably more out there that are similar to Zelda but I don't know, you are just going to have to go to EB games or Gamestop and look around

Kingdom Hearts 1&2. PS: There aren't any Zelda games for the ps2. Only for nintendo.

Kingdom Hearts is probably your best bet. It has a lot more action ....like a Zelda game. This is unlike Final Fantasy games, where you would have turns, (ex. good guy, other good guy, bad guy, other bad guy..etc. )
In Kingdom Hearts there are NO turns it's just constant slap slap action. The story is great, the characters are vast, the game play is, awesome. It's just a really really great game.

man u guys are retarted final fantasy 10 do not try x-2 a blow off game rele sucked........ final fantasy 12 also rele good game if ne body says star ocean no no no no ummm wild arms all final fantasy games are good even the ps1 games ff7 was my fave but u can't go wrong with ff games long but very very fun

If you love the bosses: Shadow of the Colossus.
If you love the fighting: God of War (rated M for good reason, but a fantastic game.)
If you love the art/action/style: Okami is your game.
If you like the character appearance: Dark Cloud 2.
That should be a good start.

If you wait a little while Rogue Galaxy will be out and that will be an awesome Action/RPG.
