Only in hindsight. I'm all for instant gratification. While expecting, it feels like forever! We were practically counting down the seconds, looking at pictures to see how big the baby should be now, what the progress is, feeling the first kick, then the first jump kick, then the roundhouse kicks, etc.

Afterward, it'll seem like a flash in the pan. You'll completely forget about the fact that you were ever pregnant and all that waiting you did. You'll miss it a little at first, but then you'll just reminesce once in a while.

Try joining a birth club on http://www.babycenter.com -- Time will fly more quickly when you're able to talk with other women who are about as far along as you are.

Other than that, just relax, enjoy, and take care.

The short answer is NO. You will be very tired of being pregnant by the last month of your term. You will think you are going to be early. That is called WISHFUL THINKING.

If you are impatient, you made a bad choice to become a parent. Kids require lots of patience. LOTS AND LOTS of patience.

You can pass the next 8 months practicing what got you pregnant without the fear of becoming pregnant. You only tried for 5 months. You got off easy. Some folks try a lot longer than you. Be grateful that God has given you a child.

Definitely start working on that patience thing. You're gonna need it. Good luck.

By the way I have 2 very gifted children. As smart as they are, they require lots of patience. Children that don't learn quickly make more mistakes and require more patience.

Get the books "what to expect while you're expecting" and "what to expect in your child's 1st year."

Go to a Lamaze class with your hubby.

Learn this word "EPIDURAL" You will want one. Tell your doctor to give you one.

Good luck and God Bless you.

You've had contractions, you simply do not consider them... Contractions are what motive you to dilate and efface and lots of first time mothers don't even realize them considering the fact that they aren't always painful. Your body is getting in a position and it shows via your cervix altering. You can try to do the entire above but the bottom line is that if your physique isn't capable you're going to not go into labor no matter what you do (apart from being medically precipitated). That you could are attempting nipple stimulation if you have not yet. You can go at every time and no person is aware of for certain when. Some women keep dilated for weeks and even have to be brought on and others don't have any cervial changes and simply do into labor and do it all at once. All people is specific and the little one will come out so you have to be sufferer and leisure whilst that you can. I know its rough to be that far along however ultimately it's going to occur.

Good luck to your child. I'm sure your one of those want a be moms .Wants the kid as a trophy but nothing else. I have a neighbor she leaves at 7.00 drops the kids off a day care, works comes home at 8.00 puts them to bed. Then on the weekends has a baby sitter all day. There's a real mom. Your in the process of having a child. Many couples can't. Why don't you stop acting like a child and enjoy the experience. Hopefully your husband has it together, but I doubt it if he married you. Grow up!!!!

Sometimes it will seem to go slow, other times, fast. The first half for me seemed to go slow because I had bad morning sickness and I was miserable. After that, my pregnancy seemed to go by quick. But now, at 7 months, I'm carrying a lot of weight around, and sometimes it seems like an eternity until my due date, even though I have only 9 weeks to go. I know it seems like forever at times, but then you'll sometimes ask yourself, "where did all that time go?".

Just have fun being pregnant, keep busy and start planning and im sure your time will go by quick! Congrats!

No, time takes its course, like always, except that if you are impatiently waiting, that may seam a long time, the best thing to do is to read what to expect when you are expecting that is a very informative and complete book during pregancy, it will be a lot of help, take care.

it doesn't... I am 36 weeks now and I feel like I ve been pregnant forever. But let me tell you, the last couple of weeks are actually the worst - you are home looking at all your baby stuff and the only thing you can do is waiting and waiting... it is just so long.
