You're getting up there in years and your body isn't what it used to be. You can't just go running about like you used to.
May I suggest you get a rascal? Or a scooter?
Here's one satisfied customer: "My Rascal means more to me now than ever. It is my freedom vehicle that lets me get out and still be an active member of society. I could not function without it. Thanks for keeping me in life's mainstream. Many, many thanks from an independent and very happy customer." Sincerely, Mrs. Janet E. Brooks
Maybe you can be a satisfied customer too?

Hi--you said "sometimes." (Someone gave you a very nasty answer.) I know a woman who lives alone, & she fell twice & wasn't able to get up for HOURS & couldn't even have gotten to the phone. Yes, of course there is something wrong. You need to see your doctor. This woman is in her early seventies, & has had some major health problems. Strangely enough, this just "passed" but if I were you, I wouldn't count on it. If you live alone, there's some kind of medic alert (I'm not sure how it works) that you might consider. This isn't at all funny! The woman I know was very frightened, & I still don't know exactly how she finally got up--which she did--& didn't get any medical attention. (Very independent to a fault, I think.) Please don't let this go. The consequences to yourself could be awful. Please don't let anything happen! (I also know of a woman in her late sixties who was on the floor for TEN days before she was found, & if she'd have gotten medical attention at the start, she wouldn't have died. Very serious, & I'm concerned!
Edit: What a pity there are people like "angrytypi" in the world!

LOL....Uh sorry, hope U didn't hurt yourself. Have U had your ears checked, sometime causes imbalance if their is fluid in your ears. ( find out about vertigo also),,Hope u are not living by yourself.
addition: I agree with Kaari P. Things/people are not always what they seem in these Q&A's The person asking the question sounds like they may be mocking the commercial that came out many years ago. She is almost verbatum. It states "I've fallen and I can't get up". There is no way I would be asking serious health related questions here, too many lunk-heads answering. We can only hope these are not really serious questions.

It could mean that something more serious is going on and this is a warning. Get yourself to the Doctor ASAP.

Your question is preposterous. If you've fallen and can't get up, how are you walking about, typing on a computer instead of flailing on the ground like a shark on dry land. Silly old bag, choose Lifealert.

Are you older? Is that really your photo? Just need more info because things are not always as they seem around here.
I would recommend anyone with this problem to see their doctor though.

Could be you are a homesteader. Then again I've heard of something called ' Waltzing Matilda ' so I advise you to watch those sweeping side steps.

Hi,
There can be more causes and you should see a doctor. It could mean problems with your heart, with your blood, blood circulation, with your brain or with your nervous system.
I wish you good health!
